Marguerite Keyes & Scott Alario
Marguerite Keyes and Scott Alario are American artists, having met while studying at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. The two have been partners and collaborators for the past several years, and they both consider story-telling to be very significant in their work. Marguerite tells her stories in traditional book form as well as using installations, like in her piece 'The Find' involving a life sized balloon craft, and her nearly microscopic meticulously made worlds of hair and paper. Scott's stories are built through the photographs he makes using a 100 year old view camera and they often tell tales that have been inspired by his ancestors. Scott and Marguerite have exhibited work in New England, and Reykjavik.
